Your Outdoor Space, Designed and Built by One Crew From Start to Finish
Your yard should feel like an extension of your home, a space your family can actually gather, relax, and use the space. Whether you're starting from bare dirt on a new build or reimagining an outdoor space that's never quite come together, we design and build landscapes in Edmonton that are made to be enjoyed.
We handle everything. One crew, one point of contact, one quote covering design through construction. No coordinating separate contractors. No gaps in accountability. Just a clear plan, honest communication, and a finished yard we're proud to showcase.
- Step 1: Site Visit and Plot Plan We visit your property, understand your goals, take measurements, and align the design to your lot.
- Step 2: Design and Coordination We finalize layout, materials, and drainage, then coordinate any grading requirements before a shovel goes in the ground.
- Step 3: Build and Final Walkthrough We complete hardscape and softscape, then walk the finished project with you before we leave.
From Grading to Full Yard Transformations
Every project is different. Some clients come to us with a clear vision and a full yard to build out. Others know they want something better but aren't sure where to start. Either way, we meet you where you are and build a plan around how you actually want to use your outdoor space.
If you want ongoing care after the build, ask about bundling lawn maintenance into your plan.
Building New in Edmonton? Here's What You Need to Know Before Landscaping Starts
New build landscaping in Edmonton comes with a sequence that matters. The City requires your property to be landscaped within 18 months after occupancy, but permanent work, sod, stone, or retaining walls, cannot start until you have Final Grade Approval. Starting before that may cause you to redo the landscaping.
The right order: get your plot plan from your builder, confirm rough grade approval, then book your consultation. We coordinate final grading and full landscaping together across Secord, McConachie, Heritage Valley, Windermere, Chappelle, Keswick, and Riverbend. One crew handles the whole sequence so nothing falls through the gap between trades.

I know there are many landscaping companies out there, but Steve and his team truly stands out. They did an excellent job on our new build landscaping as well as constructing our new fence. The team was very professional, polite, responsive, and their pricing was fair. Highly recommended!

I was lucky enough to find Serene construction landscaping through a Facebook group, the team showed up and walked me through the process and explained where the costs were coming from. They were all extremely professional and knowledgable. They worked like dogs for three days to get my lawn in pristine condition. It looks absolutely amazing.

Yes. We install patios on 6–8" of compacted limestone screening with polymeric sand joints. Walkways get the same base treatment so they don't shift or sink.
Yes. Most yards here are clay, so we grade to 2% slope minimum. On bigger jobs with persistent pooling, we add drain tile or catch basins.
Yes. We install sod as part of a full landscape build or as a standalone service.
Timelines depend on scope. Smaller builds take a few days, while full yard projects can take several weeks. Permit and final grade approval can add several weeks before construction starts.
Yes. We coordinate the survey and final grade certificate so you are not managing surveyors yourself. Final grade approval is mandatory in Edmonton before permanent landscaping (sod, stone, retaining walls) can be completed. We include the process in the quote.
A plot plan from your builder helps us align the design with your lot and grading requirements. If you are still on rough grade, do not start permanent landscaping until you have Final Grade Approval from the city.
The City of Edmonton requires residential properties to be landscaped within 18 months of occupancy. Plan the sequence early: get your plot plan, then book a consultation. Do not start permanent work until you have Final Grade Approval or you may have to redo work if drainage is wrong.
